About the Photograph
The 1st Carl Johnson Print of the Month photograph is titled "Winter Foraging." This image was captured on a Nikon D200, using the Nikkor 500mm f/4.0 lens in December 2007. In Anchorage, swarms of Bohemian waxwings move from tree to tree, often seeking out the ripe red berry of the mountain ash tree.

Print and Mat
The print is made using archival inks on archival quality paper, with a guarantee that the print will not fade in your lifetime with the proper care. The mat is white, museum quality rag board. Mounting is with hinged archival tape. All materials used are archival.
